In November 2019 I made the much fraught over decision to leave Interflora. We had been a member since opening the shop in 2011 and it had always kept us very busy but because of this, I never had time to evolve the business.
My thinking at the time was to wait until after Christmas and Valentine’s Day before making exciting changes to the shop… but then Covid hit.
It’s only now, in 2022 that I feel comfortable and excited to make these long awaited changes. My vision is to evolve the shop into a one stop shop for all your flower and plant needs. And first on the list is to find wonderful, UK based, suppliers for gifts and plant accessories.
Here’s a look at a few companies that have arrived in the shop already!
Shell on Earth
Seedling Cards are award-winning products having been designed with the act of ‘giving back’ in mind from using recycled and biodegradable elements to sourcing local materials where possible. The seeds we use are British-grown and have all been chosen to to attract pollinators and help re-build their lost natural habitats.
Haws Watering Cans
Shell on Earth is a small family business run by husband and wife team Jordan & Caryl Andrews. They take the crushed whelk shells generated at their family’s seafood processing factory and recycle them for use in gardens and landscaping.
These crushed Whelk shells can be used on house plants and in the garden. We’ve them in Crushed and Super Crushed options and three different sizes.
Seedling Cards
Since 1886 Haws have been making beautiful watering cans and spritzers. These are a lifetime gift for yourself or a loved one and will make watering more stylish and enjoyable.
